Fat Lulu’s is a modern Asian barbecue kitchen and dessert bar. The excellent food is the credited to two chefs, namely, Sam, who has experience in New York Michelin‐starred kitchens and Singapore-native, Song. The menu at Fat Lulu’s is small and concise, comprising of a single page of 19 different mains and sides and a single page of seven types of desserts. The burnt corn ($9) which is sweet and has an aromatic smokiness, is the house’s specialty that is specially sourced.
Another two dishes that are well‐received and you would probably want to try are the Tomatoes and Burrata ($15) and Beef Ravioli ($22); both being rich and flavourful. The other attractive component at Fat Lulu’s will be their 3‐course dessert menu priced at $35. This includes the Mango and Lychee which is a refreshing fruity mix of cream, ice and crisp – A favourite with many diners. It has been unanimously agreed upon that besides the cosy atmosphere, the service here is great and the staff are very knowledgeable about their food.
