Where to shop in Orchard Road

A whole street which is almost entirely dedicated to shopping, Orchard Road is the must-visit location for those looking for a bit of retail therapy. The wide avenue is lined with a whole host of shopping centres – from the original Chinese emporiums to modern mega-malls made from steel and glass. This is mostly mall country, with a handful of boutiques amongst them. The road is over two kilometers long and there are three MRT stops here: Doby Ghaut, Orchard and Somerset, although if there’s no rush walking between the malls is rather pleasant.
There are currently 22 malls and six shopping centres in the area, so we’ve put together the top ten shopping spots in Orchard Road to make things just a little bit easier.
